18" Signed Antique Japanese Satsuma Hand Painted Porcelain Moriage Vase

Description

This is an antique hand painted Japanese (?) Satsuma Vase with applied moriage decoration with flowers, raised dots and what appears to be peacock feathers. The vase is a beautiful cobalt blue color is very vibrant and the photos do not do it justice. The vase is signed by an unknown talented artist that used negative space to enhance the design. The vase stands approximately 18 inches tall and about 9 inches wide. I believe it is from the late 1800's, but can't be sure.  There is a hairline and a chip in the rim as two of the photos will show. The vase weighs about 8 lbs and will be packed well when shipped and will probably weigh about 12 lbs with packing material.
