    This listing is for a lovely pair of 19th Century Chinese embroidered red silk tiger face child's shoes/slippers. These adorable slippers were usually made and worn to celebrate the Chinese New Year.
    The shoes are hand made of red silk with embroidered tiger face decoration on the toe. They have a blue silk ribbon attached at back of heel for tying around ankle (similar to ballet slippers).
    The silk body of the shoes as well as the embroidery are both in excellent Estate condition. The soles are also embroidered and are in excellent condition. The blue silk ribbon ties are faded and show wear. The interior is clean and overall the slippers are in excellent condition reflecting minimal wear from normal use.
    Measure 4 1/4" long (from end of heal to toe), 1 3/8" high and 1 7/8" wide.
