Antique Early Asian Pacific Philippines Artesanial Basket with Wooden Cover & Wooden Base~original antique rope handle
This is a fantastic early basket from the Asian Pacific. It is well over 100 years old and shows it's age! Original corners of the basket are all detached from the base but the design allows the rope to make up the deficit. An earlier owner has added adhesive of some kind. See pics
Not sure about the hole in the lid...may have been created for a purpose earlier in its loooong lifetime.
