    Description

    Available is an Antique Hand Carved Wooden Architectural Item, Asian. I do not know the origin of this piece but it is very old, possibly hundreds of years old. From the side it looks like the tail of some fantastical water beast. The front facing side has a hand carved bird (photo 2) with plants and fruit. At some point someone added a hanger to the back and had it functioning as a wall shelf sconce (last photo.)  Condition is solid with wear and age cracking. It measures 24 inches long, 8 inches at the widest and 3-1/2 inches thick. There are remnants of old green paint.
