******* PRICE is 9 ****** This is a game-used and unbroken stick of all-star forward Phil Kessel from the 2019-20 NHL season, his first with the team. Kessel used a few different models of TRUE sticks that season and this is one of them. It's an AX9 model with KESSEL 81 stamping on the shaft. It shows decent overall use with all original tape on the knob and his candy cane style of taping the shaft that he's been doing since 2010. Kessel removed the white blade tape. Kessel mainly used Easton sticks
with the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2009-15 and his first of four years with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2015-16 before he started testing out other stick models while stockpiling several hundred old Easton sticks in case they were needed.
Kessel was on two Stanley Cup winning teams while with Pittsburgh, in 2016 and 2017. He
reached the 400 career NHL goals mark on Oct. 25, 2022 on the same night that he played in his 990th game as the league's new Ironman.
Kessel
signed with the Vegas Golden Knights in August 2022 and likely will make the Hall of Fame when he is done playing.
