Welcome to my auction. I'm a full time (and would like to think a fairly well known ;) scrimshaw and engraving artist. I have done and do work for some pretty famous clients and galleries and have worked with some of the best/top knife makers from around the world. My work has also been published/written up in Blade magazine a few times.... UP FOR SALE
I took a buffalo nickel and used a metal lathe to make the face of the coin almost perfectly flat while leaving the rim intact. I then polished the surface to a mirror shine making it ready to be engraved or used for a pendant. You are purchasing the actual coin shown and it is an actual (real) Indian Head nickel.
