    Description

******* PRICE is ****** This is a practice-used and unbroken stick of Boston Bruins defenseman Nick Beverly from the mid-1970s. It's a Northland custom pro with moderate overall use. It has a pattern number 0606 stamping on the shaft and does not have Beverly's name stamped on it. The blade tape has been removed along with most of the knob tape. It has #6 written in green on three sides of the shaft. Not sure why tho. Beverly took over #6 after Ted Green left for the WHA. (Note that he is wearing Green's old home jersey in the hockey card photo. Beverly never was an alternate captain but Green was) This stick has the team colored accent stripes that Northland began using in 1971 on pro sticks and it has the BOSTON BRUINS PRO HOCKEY SHOP stamping on both sides of the upper shaft. That shop was located inside the Boston Garden.
