Bronze Foo Dog Lion Pair

13 pounds total of Bronze Foo Dog Left & Right facing Lion Pair/set. Very old patina, under magnification I see the green patina of copper, and there are bits of gold here and there, so I’m assuming these were gilt-covered at one time. There are some leftover smear type areas on the feet bottoms (see pics) so I’m guessing that at one time someone maybe glued felt or wood to their feet. They weigh 6 1/2 pounds each, so very heavy lions, 7” long x 5” wide x 6 3/4” high. I have been using them at the edges of my fireplace for many years. These are very old, and judging from the patina itself, my guess would be 1800’s or much much earlier. Condition is Used/antique. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail.
