Carl Isken West German Green Wool Polizei Field Visor Hat Cold War Size 7 3/4

Description

A post WW2 West German polizei hat that appears to be dated exactly to 1950.  Label on the inside reads:
Carl Isken Uniformmotzenfabric Koln Isko 1900 1950
No size marked but I measured an inner circumference of 61 cm or about 24 1/8  inches.  Size would be about 7 3/4 or 2XL on US charts, near the very top of the size chart.
A very fine to near perfect example, only needs a little reforming to be probably one of the finest examples of this hat.  Maybe some loss of gilding on the badge but it might be an older badge.
