******* PRICE is 0 ****** This is a game-used and unbroken stick of Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Bill White from the 1974 NHL Game. It was played at the old Chicago Stadium on Jan. 29, 1974 and the East beat the West 5-4. Garry Unger won the MVP by getting a goal and an assist and he is one of 14 players who signed this stick including Hall of Famers Tony Esposito, Bernie Parent and Bob Clarke. Others who signed this Northland custom pro stick are White, Ed Van Impe, Joe Watson, Dave Burrows, Pit Martin, Al McDonough, Bob Berry, Lowell McDonald, Joey Johnston and East athletic trainer Skip Thayer who was with the Blackhawks in the 1970s and 1980s. (The stick is missing the signatures of only 5 players on the East squad _ Bill Goldsworthy, Barcley Plager, Stan Mikita, Don Awrey and Jim Pappin). The knob tape was removed but White's blade tape remains in the stick along with the Blackhawks team colored stripes and White's #2 stamping and the bold GUNZO'S stamping on both sides of the shaft. It was the last of six straight All-Star appearance for White. The stick was obtained from collection of a longtime NHL employee who attended that 1974 game. Great
item for any vintage stick collector.
