    Description

    Just unpacked from a box that was packed away some 25-30 years ago comes this beautiful covered casserole bowl in the "Floral" pattern of Depression Glass.  This bowl is getting more and more difficult to find and is a stunning piece of glass.  The "Floral" pattern, also knows as "Poinsettia", was manufactured by the Jeannette Glass Company of Jeannette, Pennsylvania from 1931-1935.  This pattern features a passion flower or poinsettia and is a highly-decorated, mold-etched piece of glass.  The bottom piece or casserole measures 8 inches across from side to side and 9 1/2 inches across form handle to handle.  The bottom stands 2 1/2 inches tall.  The lid measures 7 11/16th inces across the diameter and fits nicely into the bottom piece.  Both pieces are in EXCELLENT CONDITION with no chips, no cracks, no cloudiness and no damage.  There is a 1/4 inch chip on the inner rim of the bottom piece, which is not unusual with the lid closing down on the bottom during 75 years of use.  Other than that, it is in AMAZING CONDITION!!  Please see the photos, check my feedback, and ask any questions before making a purchase.  You will be delighted with this covered casserole!!
