This is a very Rare Grant Fuhr Signed Custom Made Sherwood Goal Stick of one of the NHL,s former Edmonton Oilers First Round 1981 NHL Draft Pick and very respected and much accomplished goal tenders and Hall Of Famers of our time. This stick was signed for my son in the 1992 / 1993 season after a game between the Hartford Whalers and Toronto Maple Leafs at the Hartford Civic Center when I worked on the Whalers training staff. This is a fantastic piece of hockey memorabilia of the 5 time Stanley Cup goaltender and former NHL Goalie coach of the Phoenix Coyotes too have for your collection. Grant would be the First Black Player too win a Stanley Cup and be selected too 7 All Star games and be selected too the 100 Best NHL Players of All Time. The signature is faded and not very visible as it has been in storage for nearly 25 years. I believe the signature says --- To Ray Best Wishes and signed Grant Fuhr with the #31 in the center of the white dash between the words Sher - Wood. It would be Grant who would give his forwards the confidence too rush the puck and not have too be worried about being scored on as he was the best of his era. Good luck in the bidding for this Vezina and William M Jennings Trophy winners stick.
