Description
Kimono/Korean War GI 1950s hand stitched w/o tags soft floral design/cherry red lining. My father brought this lovely kimono home when he returned from the Korean War. The lovely hand stitched garment is clean as my mother washed it on gentle cycle and stored it carefully in a cotton sheet but I see that the cherry red lining did bleed on the inside of the garment but hard to discern on the outside. There is a picture of the bleed included. I am not sure what the fabric is but it is very soft and flowing. My model is 5’10” so you can see how the garment flows around her feet. This vintage piece would make a lovely hostess gift but definitely should be worn and enjoyed. My mother treasured it and was afraid to wear it. What good is owning something so lovely without using and enjoying it? I will be happy to answer any questions or send more pictures on request.
