******* PRICE is 9 ****** This is a game-used and unbroken stick of all-star forward Phil Kessel, who used Easton S19 sticks for most of his six seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs from 2009-15 and his first of four years with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2015-16. It has Kessel's trademark candy-cane taping around the shaft that he started doing around October 2010. The tape partly covers the KESSEL and 81 stamping on the shaft. All original white tape on the blade and knob. The stick shows decent use and was obtained from a collector who got a batch of Kessel game-used sticks from the Penguins when
"Phil The Thrill" was there before he was traded to the Arizona Coyotes in June 2019. Kessel was on two Stanley Cup winning teams while with Pittsburgh, in 2016 and 2017. Kessel reached the 400 career NHL goals mark on Oct. 25, 2022 on the same night that he played in his 990th game as the league's new Ironman. He signed with the Vegas Golden Knights in August 2022 and likely will make the Hall of Fame when he is done playing.
