Description
This Buy it Now auction is for some Korean War related U.S. Military items. There is a M-1943 "Ike Jacket" Army dress uniform jacket. The jacket is dated 1953 on the Quartermaster tag. The jacket is size 28L. The jacket has a set of Enlisted collar disks. There is a "US" disk, and an Infantry crossed rifles disk. There is a 24th Corps unit patch on the jacket. There are some Overseas Service stripes on the jacket. There are some medal ribbons for the Korean War. There is an Army Marksman shooting badge. The Ike Jacket has moth hole damage, and is missing a button. There is also some minor rip damage. The pants are M-1951 pants that are dated 1953. The pants are size Medium Regular. I didn't see moth hole damage on the pants, but expect there to be moth hole damage. The shirt is a M-1951 shirt know as a "Korean War Shirt". They made the wool shirts thicker during the Korean War era for all those poor soldiers freezing to death over there. The shirt has an "M" size tag, but the printed Quartermaster information with a date has faded away. The shirt has an added soldier name tag. I don't know if the shirt has moth holes or not, but expect it to have moth hole damage. There is a tan khaki M-1950 Flat Cap that is dated 1951, and is size 7 3/8. There is also a Post-Korean War Vet Ball Cap. These items are old and in Used Condition with wear damage from use. There is sun fading, dirt stains, scratches, paint loss, oxidation to the metal parts, ripps, missing buttons, and moth hole damage. Expect old wool items to have moth hole damage. This item is no longer in the perfect condition that it was once in the day it was originally manufactured. It is both damaged from use, and damaged from being old. Time slowly destroys old things. This item can be mailed in a Large size USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate Box.
