Old solid brass Asian street vendors food box complete with detachable condiment containers and a variety of other brass bowls/boxes as pictured. The front doors open to reveal the inner warming compartment - hot charcoal would have been used. Glass side panels and decorative door, good strong handle on either side of the hexagonal body. Nowadays these can be used as a compact bar with bottles on top and accessories in the condiment boxes such as fruit slices/stirrers/cocktail sticks. Also would make a beautiful plant stand or a lantern for candles or even a tea cart or side table or just as a curious decorative item in the home. It has minor dings and scuffs from age and a gorgeous glowing patina. It's simply quite eye catching! It is approximately 21 inches tall by 11 inches wide. The glass slides right out and will have to be packed separately for shipping as to assure no breakage.
