Oriental Wall Art Black Laquer 4 panels geisha shell pastel painted MOP vintage

Description

Four panels of beautiful wall art are in this lot.  They are wood, with black laquered paint, decorated with silver & gold paint patterns.  The panels are each unique, each with 2 geisha figures in pastel dresses made out of inlaid shell pieces.  Not sure what the faces are made of but it's different material.  There are other features like plants and buildings created from the mother of pearl.  The two central ones each have one half of a pagoda structure.  They have hanging tags attached to the top.  Each panel is 12 inches across and 36 inches high.  The tags on the back say Made in China.  Due to age, they are not pristine,  having paint chips, some of which are shown in pictures. I bought them from an antique store, so I don't know more about them except they're just beautiful.  The shipping is high to accomodate the extreme packaging that will need to be done to get them safely to their destination.
