Rare 1950s korean War US Navy Fighter Pilots Helmet Golden Dragons H3-H4. Nice!. Up for sale is a vintage 1950s Korean War US. Navy fighter pilots helmet Golden Dragons squadron VH-192. The helmet comes with original inside warm weather liner with ear pieces also comes with oxygen mask and microphones and WW2 fighter goggles. The helmet looks to been restored blue paint with golden dragons in gold painted on each side. Also has the Navy wings emblem on the front of helmet. Golden Dragons Squadron VH-192 condition of the helmet is excellent condition the oxygen mask has a little split in the hose line couple little scuffs on the helmet but nothing major. The helmet is marked inside and has tag on the warm weather liner. I purchased this Korean War helmet from a retired Navy pilot officer named Douglas Orahood he’s 83 years old now. He flew lots of different navy fighter planes in his career he lives in my city here and sold me his collection of helmets and other items check out my other listings on eBay to see some of the items. In 1962 Douglas Orahood was on the aircraft carrier Antietam when he broke the world record for 22,001 arrested landings. I’m selling this vintage 1950s Korean War US fighter pilot helmet in as is condition so please view pictures carefully because it’s part of my description what you see is what you get.
