This FANTASTIC set of hor d'ouevre plates came from an estate sale with great items from the 1970s. There are 6, each featuring a different tapas or canape food item: olives, cheese, ham, shrimp, mussel, and oyster. They must be rare because I couldn't find out anything about the company other than they were based in Valencia and haven't been in business for some time. I also couldn't find a set like this anywhere. The bottoms are marked Algiros and stamped "La porcelana de Ley". They measure 5 1/2" each and have no chips or cracks, just some minor surface scratches from use. I'm including a 6 1/2" plate with a picture of olives, also stamped Algiros on the bottom. Shipped USPS or free local pickup outside Washington DC.
