SAMPLE RUBIGOLD CARNIVAL over Milk GLASS Imperial Large Swan Bowl -- SEE PHOTOS.
This was a feasibility item made in the 1960s or 1970s. It is about 11" long and 5" tall.  There are no chips or cracks or wear to the finish.
The Rubigold carnival spray is uneven in places which is one of the reasons this treatment was not made in large numbers during the Contemporary Carnival Glass Era.
It is not fading from wear, this is how it was when made - the interior coating is just lighter.   I've always wondered if the decorator did that on purpose
to mimic the light and dark shade of feathers on a real animal.
