USGI M1 Garand Springfield Armory Barrel Dated 3or8?-51 and operating rod spring

Description

I received this barrel and spring with a rack grade M-1 I purchased from the CMP and had refurbished.
The barrel is a S-A-3 or 8-51 with normal wear but no rust on the outside as you can see from the pictures.
The breech end is stamped 06636440-40-A142A with an upside down “M” to the right.
There is the remnant of some sort of 4 cornered star that is partially worn.
The bore is dirty, the rifling looks shootable to me but I assume it is not going to deliver any sort of accuracy.
I included a picture of the muzzle with a 30-06 round inserted for comparison but I am not knowledgeable enough to rate the muzzle wear.
Somewhere between 1/16 and 1/8 inch of the bullet is showing between the muzzle and the case.
To me this is a cheap replacement barrel for someone who doesn’t have one.
The operating rod spring, although it worked fine, was replaced by the rebuilder and may be below par but is included just in case the purchaser can use it.
