Vintage Framed January 1950 US Navy Honorable Discharge Certificate + VA Form

Description

The frame measures 12" x 10.5". There are a couple creases and a few stains on the certificate, and a small piece is missing off the top center edge. The frame has some wear and is missing the small metal brackets on one side of the back that hold the backing in place. Included with the framed certificate is VA Form 40-1330 Application for Standard Government Headstone or Marker from 1997. The certificate and form pertain to Leon William Gorsline. The certificate was signed by L.K. Cloutier, Lt., USN.
