VINTAGE SCRIMSHAW EAGLE HEAD PLAQUE IN A STERLING SILVER BEZEL - BEAUTIFUL WORK

Description

Majestic vintage scrimshaw eagle head plaque set into a sterling silver open-edge frame or bezel. Age is c. 1970-80.
The oval measures approx. 1.75" x 1.25" x 1/8", frame is marked "Sterling" on the back. It's made of antler or other natural material.
It's not signed, at least not on the front. It's a beautifully done scrimshaw portrait of the proud eagle, symbol of our country.
In very fine estate condition, offered 'as found'.
